Transition Bikes is seeking the right person to join our inside sales team. Our ideal candidate has strong interpersonal skills, is highly self-motivated, and is passionate about the mountain bike world. Members of our sales team work directly with our dealer network to develop and maintain relationships with Transition Bikes. Our sales representatives work both in-house and on the road, traveling the country to meet customers, organize events, and spread the passion behind the brand.
What You'll Do
Manage the Canadian and part of the USA sales territory's current customers by using a personal selling approach to grow the business successfully.
Drive business through accounts by cultivating and maintaining relationships with our network of retail partners in your region, resulting in consistent target attainment.
Understand account competitors and the marketplace to utilize assessment, knowledge, and a brand management focus to adjust and drive business plans through accounts.
Develop seasonal assortments, forecasts, and scenario plans for assigned accounts using category, account, brand, and marketplace knowledge.
Collaborate with marketing, support, management, product management, and account management to facilitate new programs, messages, campaigns, and offerings.
Accept inbound and perform outbound telephone calls from/to independent bike retailers to secure annual renewals and cross-sell new products.
Assist retailers with inventory analysis and provide solutions for improving their business.
Provide timely follow-up, closure, and tracking of all sales activities.

Preferences and Requirements
This job is not remote; you must live in Bellingham, WA, or be willing to relocate.
Proficiency in French is preferred to enhance dealer communication with French Canadians.
Ability to travel up to 20% of the year, attending events and visiting shops.
Sales experience is required, and bike wholesale experience is preferred.
A valid passport and the ability to travel in and out of Canada is required.
Valid driver's license and provide proof of a clean M.V.R. is required
