Transition Welcomes Thomas Vanderham
April 02, 2025

We are excited to welcome Thomas to the team!

Thomas brings a wealth of knowledge from his experience riding and working with many brands over his career, and will be working alongside our marketing, sales, and product teams as the Canadian Market Specialist. He will be attending events, strengthening dealer relationships, helping develop products among many other things. This new chapter for us is a big step in supporting our dealers and riders in Canada. With our roots firmly grounded in the Northwest, it’s awesome to have Thomas on board to help expand our reach and connection in British Columbia and beyond.

As a brand with freeride roots, we feel the alignment with Thomas and his legendary freeride career is going to make for a great partnership that we are stoked to see grow and develop. His many years of experience in the sport have made him an expert in product design, content development and many other skills we are fortunate to add to Transition. Coupled with being an incredibly humble and easy going character, he embodies the spirit and core values of everyone here at TR.

Look forward to seeing Thomas's iconic style in content, events, working with our dealers, and of course riding his backyard trails of the North Shore.

Thomas is dedicating as much time as possible to familiarizing himself with our entire lineup. While getting to know a new platform takes time, he seems to be getting on quite well! Here, he’s pictured on the Sentinel, making his way through the technical entrance to Cambodia on Seymour.

Our Canadian dealers, such as the North Shore Bike Shop, helped Transition grow from a small company in a basement to what we are today. Thomas will be focused on helping support their needs by keeping them informed on product, marketing and working with the employees and local community.

Thomas' mixed-wheel Sentinel has been his go to choice for big days pedaling around the North Shore. He's looking to add something a bit burlier to his stable, do you think he'll go Spire or Patrol?

Welcome Thomas!
